Description:
The Nottingham core housing market area (HMA), includes Nottingham City , surrounding suburbs outside the city boundary and neighbouring towns. For the Regional Spatial Strategy the HMA was defined, covering whole local authorities, as Nottingham City and the adjacent local authority districts of Broxtowe, Gedling, Rushcliffe, and Erewash, For the purposes of this assessment, how ever, the Hucknall part of Ashfield district has been included,as it is functionally part of the housing market area. This is recognised by its inclusion as part of the Three Cities Sub -Region in the Draft Regional Spatial Strategy.
