The new Mosaic is a complete new classification with more groups and types offering a more detialed, granular look at Nottinghamshire Households in terms of lifestyle segmentation. Some characteristics from the Old Mosaic are present in the new but there are also alot of completely new types that can not be made to best fit. |

Nottingham City Children's Services Floor Target Action Plan
|
The Floor Target Action Plans (FTAPs) tackle the floor targets that were first set by the government in 2000. The floor targets set the minimum standard for disadvantaged groups or areas.
In April 2005, a new approach to Floor Targets was introduced. This groups Floor Targets under 6 key areas; Education, Crime, Worklessness, Health, Liveability and Housing as well as having Floor Targets that sit outside these 6 areas.
The FTAPs have been produced after wide consultation with all stakeholders in Nottingham and represent a real step forward in the ability of One Nottingham to plan and deliver its work to reduce deprivation and inequalities within the City. |

Nottingham Local Area Agreement 2006-2009 - Final Submission
|
The Local Area Agreement (LAA) is a 3 year plan agreed locally and with Central Government. Nottingham's LAA focuses on Early Intervention, working together to improve the long term prospects of children, young people, adults and families who are likely to experience deprivation. The plan expresses a commitment to breaking the cycle of each new generation facing the same problems as previous generations.
The LAA is based on the following outcomes:- Cutting crime and reduce anti social behaviour, getting more local people into jobs, helping local businesses start up, tackling childhood obesity and making Nottingham cleaner and greener. The plan is updated each year and fits within the ten year Sustainable Community Strategy.
