Description: Ashfield District Councils Housing Strategy for 2005 - 2010 continues the work begun by Ashfield District Council in its Plan. It brings together in one living document national, regional and local priorities to form a balanced response to Ashfields housing needs. This Housing Strategy sets out seven Strategic Priorities that direct the work of the Council, the Housing Strategy Team and its partners. These priorities have been shaped following extensive consultation and research and all priorities work towards the goals laid out in Ashfield District Councils Corporate Plan.

One Nottingham and its partners have collated, analysed and discussed a wide range of evidence and local intelligence in order to establish a shared view of Nottingham's strengths and weaknesses. The report also examines how Nottingham is changing, and what future opportunities and risks this change may present.

Description: The Sustainable Community Strategy sets out the vision and priorities for the area. It is produced with the involvement of all parties, including citizens, public sector, voluntary and community sector and businesses. We have established a solid evidence base in order to develop and drive the effective delivery of local service improvements, ensuring a better quality of life for residents and a sustainable future for local businesses. One of the main functions of the Community Strategy is to regenerate the District and our communities by working in partnership with local public service providers, private sector organisations, voluntary sector agencies, and local residents.
