The Waste Core Strategy sets out the County and City CouncilsÂ¿ strategic planning policies for the development of future waste management facilities. This forms the first part of our replacement Waste Local Plan. This document identifies broad areas where waste management facilities, of different types, are likely to be acceptable but it does not allocate specific sites for waste management use.
