Nottingham Insight is the city's Local Information System (LIS). It plays an important role in helping One Nottingham and its partners use shared information and intelligence to form the basis of their strategies, plans and policies. Using data, various tools and techniques and a network of colleagues across the city, Nottingham Insight helps us all to reach a shared understanding and assessment of the needs to inform our decision making and service delivery, as foreseen by the 2006 Local Government white paper. Nottingham Insight colleagues attend various Networks across Nottingham to ensure that it is supporting the work of researchers, policy makers, colleagues and the public.
