JSNA Dashboards

Nottingham City is currently working to refresh our approach to Joint Strategic Needs Assessments, moving to an interactive dashboard format for key health & wellbeing information, supplemented by more in depth JSNA documents for specific topics.

The aim is to ensure that frequently accessed and key health indicators are easily available and presented in a visually interesting format.

Dashboards will be reviewed on a regular basis (timescales to be agreed) and updated where relevant data is available. It is anticipated that PDF versions of the dashboards will also be made available in time.

For specific areas or themes, or where a more in depth assessment is required, supplementary JSNA documents will be produced - these will take the format of a written document and will aim to be updated on a 3 year cycle.

The JSNA dashboards are being produced in conjunction with Nottinghamshire County Council and ICB (Integrated Care Board) colleagues to ensure a whole county view, and to allow comparisons to be made where required.

The roadmap for future JSNA chapters and the topic areas covered currently looks like this (Number and titles of chapters may be subject to change):

  • Chapter 1: Health & Wellbeing - Completed. Update required due to Census 2021 data publication
  • Chapter 2: Children & Young People - Publication expected Summer 2023
